Sami Jannin is looking to hire 2 Post-Docs to develop innovative hyperpolarization methods at the CRMN in Lyon, France.
If you have previous experience in DNP or pulsed EPR,  then these might be good opportunities for you.  If you’re interested, send your CV to sami.jannin@univ-lyon1.fr
Project 1 : Pulsed DNP with hyperpolarizing matrices (HYPSO and HYPOP)
📌 The work is to develop experimental methods to boost the NMR sensitivity using the combination of pulsed DNP and innovative hyperpolarizing materials
  • Work on a brand new Bruker Pulsed EPR system equipped with NMR detection.
  • Develop groundbreaking hyperpolarization methods for rapid 1H & 13C DNP using novel hyperpolarization matrices.
  • Ultimately combine pulsed-DNP with our rapid freeze/melt/flow benchtop DNP setup currently under development.
  • Co-supervise PhD students.
Project 2 : Hyperpolarization transport
📌 The work is to combine hyperpolarizing matrices and state-of-the-art low-temperature DNP methods, both available in our laboratory, to extend hyperpolarization lifetimes and ultimately transport hyperpolarized samples to a pre-clinical MRI facility.
  • Participate in the MRI experiments (metabolic imaging in rodents).
  • Co-supervise PhD students.
